yes, but I thought you would be following the ipswitch doc for DNS setup:
DNS entries:
-------------
ipswitch.net
IN MX 10 mail1.ipswitch.net
IN MX 10 mail2.ipswitch.net
IN MX 10 mail3.ipswitch.net
mail1 IN A 1.1.1.1
mail2 IN A 2.2.2.2
mail3 IN A 3.3.3.3
so:
MX 10 nashville
MX 10 cairo
... which means 50% of the mail goes to the wrong server.
But in your usage of different MX's for peers, it would all go mostly
to nashville who would deliver a portion it to cairo. In fact, your
"abuse" of peers' MX settings is a pretty good idea when you know the
MX 20 has connectivity difficulties.
