I'm pretty sure Imail has no way to decrypt passwords from an 
external database.  Better check the Imail knowledge base and Imail6 
user guide .pdf.  "Encrypt" returns 4 articles.

This is an ODBC issue, Imail doesn't care.

Just connnect ODBC over tcp/ip to the remote machine.  I strongly 
recommend that you don't run the SQL database and Imail on same 
machine if you have 10's of 1000's of accounts.
