After reading this list for a few months I see that a large portion
of all questions are always the same. I suggest that IPSwitch should
releases a knowledge article on the following topics:
- How to setup a secure SMTP server
+ Pro and contra for different relay options
+ How spam works (open relay)
- How to setup a mailserver for virtual domains
+ DNS settings
+ Explanation MX
+ Virtual Hosts vs IP-based hosts
+ Limitations of virtual hosts
- How to setup a catch-all account
I think many of the information above mentioned can be found
in the IPSwitch KB, but beginners probably don't know the
keywords to look for.
Maybe the traffic on the IMail lists gets lower by that...
