What's in the imail logs for the "POP3D" lines when these errors occur?

If the clients' dial-up links are bad with many tcp/ip errors and 
lost connections, mailboxes can be left open in a locked state and 
the POP3D server left in state not syncrhonized with the clients POP3 client.
