One last thing. Check for Domain Top level folders outside the IMail folder
and move them accordingly.
Forgot that one.... :)

Old Machine...
Backup the 'Ipswitch' key in registry. Backup the IMail folder with ALL
subfolders. Note ODBC DSN Name. Backup the database.
New Machine...
Install IMail on new machine with same IPs as old machine. Overwrite new
IMail folder with backup from old machine. Put database in place. Add ODBC
DSN Name and point to database. Import registry backup from old machine.
Start services.
I don't believe I missed anything. I've moved ours several times.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Moving to new server with MS Access backend
Hello List -
I am about to move a couple of domains from the old server to the new
server. The user information is stored in a MS Access database, so I
wondering what the best (easiest/safest/quickest) way to move to the new
server.
The KB gives information referring to the registry, and it looks to be
geared towards moves from the registry on one server to another. This does
not seem to be the correct instructions for a databased IMail server.
Thanks
