I have a simple page set up on IIS at my domain.com box that redirects to the 8383 address. It has a message to click here if not redirected, and I have rarely seen the message for more than a second. I do not use IIS for anything else on the Mail box except the redirect. Maybe this will help Mike -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, October 17, 2000 11:29 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [IMail Forum] How to not use http://domain.com:8383 Hi folks, I've been using the webmail for a while now, and I really love it (especially those new KillerWebMail templates... damn good work Ron and all the HKSI folks). However, I'd like to make it such that people can just go to mail.domain.com instead of http://domain.com:8383 I thought it should be an easy matter of setting up the DNS record, then the IIS record to point mail and its IP to c:\imail\web, however, when I go to start this 'website' it won't go says it already exists (it doesn't). I have about 100 domains on there, and have tried setting this up for quite a few of them, none are working. Any ideas as to how I do this? I looked in the KB, and didn't see anything there. Thanks.
