><Off Topic> By the way, does anyone know of any legal precedent for
>obtaining one's domain from an ISP?

????

Registrant:

    Domain Name: WALKERSCHOOLS.ORG

Administrative Contact, Technical Contact, Zone Contact, Billing Contact:
       Harrison, Mike (MH191) [EMAIL PROTECTED]
       Higher Technology Services

HTS is the "owner" of the domain and the T, Z, and B contact. HTS
"owns" the domain name. If HTS doesn't want to give you control of
the domain, you're out of luck.

>I walked into this job after they had
>set up their servers at a local ISP (who bought the domain name in their own
>name).

No, they registered the domain in their name, they are the owner/registrant.

>We now provide our own network service and have a server facility of
>our own. They say that the papers have been signed and Notarized to
>transfer the domain to us, but every time my boss goes over or calls about
>signing his lines on the papers, the necessary person is unavailable. This
>has been going on for months.

Not much you can do about it, the domain is their property.
