Scott,

Your IMail server indicates V6.02 (POP3) so I suspect this might be related
to this note found in the V6.04 Release Notes:
o Rules processing in SMTP, the list server, IMail client
  and the IMail Administrator.
  - Corrected a problem with "\." not being parsed
    properly.

If you are not at 6.04, you can get the patch to 6.04 (and other for web
msg) from the Ipswitch web site.
