You're right. The Ipswitch KB has paltry info on this subject.
But maybe we can help you. We've developed a gui-based utility that extracts
all user info from the registry, decrypts the passwords, creates your tables
and inserts all the user records including their FLAG and TYPE values
(important to maintain host admins, web prefs, etc.), re-configures all your
IMail domains to use the external db, then optionally cleans-up your
registry for you. It's a HUGE timesaver if you have multiple domains to
move. We call it "The Externalizer"... it will be available soon, but for
now we can use it on your behalf via remote access.
