I'll pass on this question, since I have a biased opinion...

The heuristic spam detection feature is just about ready for beta testing;
the first public release with it will likely be in about a month (of
course, that's just a guess and may change).

The first beta should be ready within the next few weeks. The public
release will be available some time after that, but it is too early to tell
when it will get through the beta test.
