Subject: [IMail Forum] POP Auth?

Hi All,

Just a quick question,  before we migrated to IMail, we were
using sendmail with a separate add-on called "POPAuth"

What this program did was only allow people to send mail who
have first successfully checked their mail.  POP3 logged the
IP address, and then SMTP would only allow people to relay
messages, to those on the IP list. Each night the list would
get purged, so others could not use that IP.

Is there any functionality like this available for IMail?

Having a dialup range of thousands of available IP addresses,
makes it very difficult to lock down permissions to an
certain range of IPs, but using this method would be able to...

Let me know...

Thanks,
Keith
