There is no API, but you have a couple of different options, depending on
what you want to do:

[1] A program alias:  This will allow you to have a program run whenever
E-mail comes to that address.  For example, you could have a
[EMAIL PROTECTED] address that will run a program that will reset the
web services.

[2] Web interface:  You can do a lot with the web interface to make the
end-user experience more enjoyable.

[3] Utilities:  You can write a command-line program that will go through
log files, user directories, etc.

[4] The "virus scanner hook":  The Knowledge Base has some information on
this hook, which will allow you to intercept all E-mail between the point it
is received and the point when it is sent.
