That depends, do you normally receive 1,000 messages a day, or 1,000,000?
Do you send out to large mailing lists?

This is very easy to find out. Just take a look at a couple of those 2,000
files. If they all say things like "HAHAHAHAHAHA GOOD LUCK SENDING OUT MAIL
NOW!", it's probably a mail bomb. If they say "Please send $5 to the
following 4 addresses...", it's probably spam. If they all are addressed to
the same user, they probably have mail set up to forward to themselves.
