If its really important, you can set up some sort of NAT/port bouncer.  We
use Big IP from F5 networks to to this.  YOur Mail Server then goes onto a
private ip, like 192.168.0.1 and the NAT bounces the port over.  So for
instance, we have 20 domains, all with their own web interfaces, on the same
Real world IP.

Maila.com.au : 210.9.x.1:81 <->  192.168.0.1:8383
Mailb.com.au : 210.9.x.1:82 <->  192.168.0.2:8383
Mailc.com.au ..210.9.x.1:83 <->  192.168.0.3:8383

If you want the same messaging, just setup 210.9.x.1 :80 <->
192.168.0.1:8383
                                                         210.9.x.1 :8383 <-> 
192.168.0.1:8383

Not for everyone, but it works quite nicely for our purposes.
