That's the point. <<
Hm, Stone - then what is it that you would LIKE to see happen? If the
return goes to the sender of a posting, then the sender has no way to
unsubscribe a user. If the return goes to the bad email address then it
won't be delivered, because the address is bad. The ONLY person who can
manually remove a bad email address is the Administrator - it's his/her JOB.
Otherwise his/her mailbox will overflow with the same repetitive returns
until he/she snaps out of the coma.
We both agree, the Imail list server is just a basic klutz. There are
full-featured list servers available that offer features to AUTOMATICALLY
remove users from the list as returns come in, or offer subscription
"probes". Bottom line is, Imail doesn't have that and I have never heard
Imail indicate that they are interested in bettering the "auxiliary"
features. They keep telling us to buy stand-alone products, if we want it
done RIGHT (while at the same time have been increasing cost!)
So what is it exactly that you are proposing?
