We're fluent in FMP, too (don't tell anyone, but we built the
http://www.macworks.com site with FMP and Lasso), and what you're proposing
would be a *bad* idea. FMP is a single-threaded db, and IMail absolutely
hammers an external db with authentication requests. You would probably
reach a bottleneck with only 10 or 20 active users. I'm sure you'd need to
modify the C code in the odbcuser.dll file, too, to make it compatible.
But if you go ahead and try it anyway, let us know what happens (after the
smoke clears). :)
