Chris,
I am assuming that you have an ODBC driver for MySQL. If so you can use the
DTS services in SQL server to painlessly move the data from the MySQL server
to SQL server 7.
The load depends very much on the usage that you expect, it sounds like the
hardware could deal with a reasonable load 10,000-20,000 users though I
would seriously consider adding a processor and setting SQL server to run on
one of them specifically. I would also set the maximum amount of memory that
SQL uses to a reasonable level, otherwise it will take it all. Ideally you
would have SQL server on it's own set of drives.
