I would only open up inbound ports 25 and 80. I don't believe that I-Mail
needs port 443 open. Then, if you wanted to secure it even more, only allow
port 110 for outbound traffic. I am not sure if you will need to open up
port 80 outbound as well.
Also, depending on what firewall software/ hardware you are using, you can
also block/ allow port access by IP addresses or IP address ranges to
further secure the server.
