[IMail Forum] rule to block .exe attachments using reg expression not working

Pardon if this has recently been answered. I have just joined this forum. My hosting company, TrueServer.com, suggested this forum to help me with this problem.   I am trying to block emails with .exe and .vbs attachments from being propogated by my mail lists. My hosting company has me using IMail version 5.   After checking the ipswitch KB, I created a rules.ima file which contains the following entries:   B~filename=".*\pvbs":NUL B~filename=".*\pexe":NUL   I placed the file in the "imail" directory and tried sending an email with a .exe attachment. I went through. I then tried putting the file into the directory for my mail list; it still went through.   Any suggestions?   Mark Hastings [EMAIL PROTECTED]
