It depends on what you mean by "gateway". He is relaying mail through your
server. However, he does have an account on your server (the
"Authenticated" line means that he used SMTP AUTH to authenticate himself).
What he is doing is not a security risk. The only issue would be if
someone from an outside IP address could do that, without
authenticating. You might choose to say that he must use an E-mail address
at your domain, but that would strictly be a policy issue -- he would
certainly not like that.
