Step 1: Make sure the 5 managers and anyone else that you want to receive mail from the list are
            "subscribed" to the list.
Step2: You could enable "password" for the list and give only the 5 managers the password to the list.
All other subscribers will be rejected when they try to post to the list if they don't use  the
           correct"password".
Step3: This step can be combined with Step2 for extra security or used alone if you don't want to go through
           the trouble of assigning passwords.
All you have to do is enable posters list and put the 5 managers email addresses in the list.
All other subscribers that are not in the list should be rejected when trying to post to the list.
Or if combined with Step2, the subscribers will have to use the correct password and be in the
          posters list.

Subject: [IMail Forum] allowing only 5 people send email to a mailing list.

Hi, this question is comming from a USER rather than an ADMIN user of Imail. but could you please tell me if it is possible to have a mailing list setup  where lets say 5 email addresses can send email to the list.

We have 5 managers who will all want to get information tot he mailing list. and at the moment IMAIL says that only [EMAIL PROTECTED]
OR
all members
OR
all the world

can send email to the list.

i really want to be able to make a list of people who can and the rest just recieve email but not send to the list.

I do work closely with my webhosts so if there are any special setups that may need to be done. could you detail them and i'll replay this only my hosts.

Kindest Regards
