you need to change your mx record
like this:
mx 10 yourimail.server.com
mx 20 yourgateway.server.com

Then configure your gateway to forward the mail to your imail server.

hope this helps,

Sezgin

Subject: [IMail Forum] Quick Question

Have a quick question, my mail server is not performing well and I have put
in a stop gap measure by having one of my other mail servers be its smtp
gateway. This is working. My question is: Can I have this gateway be a
queue(Imail) for the main mail server(Imail) as well or will this create a
loop?

I do not wish to change my DNS. My users still have to use mail.domain.com.
The reason I am asking is because I do not want this gateway to bounce mail
in case it is selected from DNS for some reason.
