the only way to avoid this is in Imail SMTP security

** "relay for addresses" and enter  your ip blocks,

** UNcheck Disable SMTP AUTH reporting

** block ip spoofing at your border router

** all users must use SMTP AUTH to relay mail through your server

in imail/spool/sysMMDD.txt is the log file where MMDD is month day, 
0105, search in that file for mail from: of a user on one domain 
sending to user on other domain and see if their are any errors or 
anything at all.
