FYI, we have just added some DNS tools to our web site (at
http://www.declude.com/tools ). Right now, we have:
o a DNS lookup tool similar to nslookup, except that it reports low-level information
(including the TTL values that the server reports)
o A WHOIS lookup, that will look up many domain names (even ones not listed at Network
Solutions), as well as IP addresses (if someone is spamming you, you can find out who
owns the IP address that they are sending from).
o A DNS REPORT tool, that will check for a number of possible problems with your DNS
setup. If you are saying that "I can send mail but can't receive mail", you will
definitely want to check this out.
We will likely be adding more tools in the future. If you have any
suggestions/ideas/comments/problems/etc., please let me know. Enjoy!
