Scott,

There is no load balancing capabilities in IMail.

Check the Archive (see url at bottom of this message) for AV information
(look for virus in subject).

Subject: [IMail Forum] Can Imail be used for load balancing

Hello all,

I use Imail 6.05 for two functions. One the box is used for my
community mail server. There are about 200 users using the server for a POP3
server. The other function is for our Mial gateway for our campus mail.
There are about 3,000 aliases on the box.
Here is the question, we want to put Symantec Enterprise Securtity software
on it this will check the mail being processed. We are trying to stop the
spread of viruses on the campus and off campus users.
I have the Imail running on a 2000 Server with 256Mg of RAM. I have 9 Gigs
of storage.
They want to build another box and use the Imail as a load balancing, can
this be done.
