That worked!! Thanks Brian -----Original
Message----- In
order to accomplish this, filtering and then sending to a different account,
you need a 2 step process. First step is as Len said, setup a rule to filter on
the criteria desired and drop the matching mails into a sub-mailbox. Second,
using the Info Manager you can forward mails that come just to that sub-box to
any other account anywhere. Eric S -----

[IMail Forum] Forwarding We’re running Imail 5.0 and
I don’t have a “add destination” option. I searched the KB but
didn’t find anything that addressed forwarding an individual email in an
individual pop acct. Thanks Brian -----Original Message----- If you have the secutity rights, go to the rules area .... add rule
..... choose the option from "sender" and put the senders e-mail
address in ... and then in the go to ... add the destination. Hope I
explained it right .... also check out www.ipswitch.com
, in the knowledge base there is a FAQ about the same senerio. /rick -----Original
Message----- I’m not the mail admin for
our company and want to setup a rule to forward messages from a certain email
address that are sent to me to another email address. I’m using the Imail web
messaging to set the rules. I have setup rules to
delete if from a certain email address but can’t figure out how to forward mail
from one email address. The mail comes from outside
our company and I need to forward it to a mailbox inside our company. Thanks, Brian Thomforde Director, Load Development iTruckers, Inc. http://www.itruckers.com/ http://www.truckdriver.com/ |
