A client wants to stop imail users from sending or recieving mails to and from any domains except from certain approved ones). We can stop incoming emails from unwanted sources by setting a global rules which uses the FROM field. This does not work for outgoing mail Can you stop outward mail in the same way. Thru webmail, despire having the rules set (where to box contains "domain.com move mail to nul box) What I mean is that they want to stop anybody using the mail server from sending mail to any domains except ones that they approve of. Thanks Richard <<<< Is this a separate IMail server, just for this one domain? If it is, the one could remove the DNS IP address in the SMTP settings and place the IP and domainname of the external domain in the HOSTS file. Since IMail cannot resolve the other domains to IPs (no DNS access), it cannot 'send' email except to internal domains and the one in the HOSTS file. I've not actually tried this, but it 'should' work. I'm not sure what you are saying in the second paragraph. You say 'internal' and then 'external'? There is no 'internal' email from external domains. Daniel Donnelly >>>> Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
