I am running IMGateAV and could not be happier. I am handling about 80K
messages a day on a low end server. As far as notification, it sends an
email to the sender, intended recipient, and an Administrator.
When I say low-end server, I mean lowend server. Celeron 500 CPU/256Megs of
RAM/20 gig IDE HD. My total cost to implement with the purchase of the new
1U server and software licensing (Kaspersky AVP) was ~$1,600.00
Thanks,
David Sparkman

Subject: [IMail Forum] Declude .or. IMGateAV ?
Hi all ...
Thanks for the replies to my mail concerning InterScan. It is a
good product, but is not scalable in a ISP environment. Limiting
the acceptable domain list to 8192 characters is a nightmare!
Right, I have taken a look at Declude (pity there is no trial
version) and it looks good from the text. Couple of questions
though! From what I have read there is no email notification
facility at present? What extra load does it put on the mail
server, especially if it is having to fork another process to call
the command line scanner?
Is anybody running the IMGateAV? How well does it perform? Does it
allow email notification to a Administrator?
Look forward to your replies.
Phil
