I am not sure what is going on here. I bought VirusScan 5.15 for Win 9x /
NT/ 2000 off the Internet today to run on my NT Server. When I run the
installer it starts the install wizard but then I get an error message "
This product is only for Win 9.x/ Windows NT Workstation/ Windows 2000 Pro"
I can only click Ok the the install sheild wizard comes back saying nothing
was changed and I can only click finish. McAffee's Web Site does not say
anything about NT Workstation it just says NT. I have emailed them about
this but have no response yet. I was really hoping to get my new version of
Declude Virus running today but that idea is obviously down the toilet.
Be careful which version you get although I don't know how you can be
careful as I can't find another version on their site that says it will work
for NT Server. All I want is the SMTP command line scanner which everyone
here talks about. Any other clues as to how I can get that?
