McAfee chooses to use very deceptive advertising and marketing. They offer at least
*3* different Windows versions of VirusScan, that differ only in the platforms they
run on. We have found a "95/98 only" version, that won't run on NT/2000 (workstation
or server). Then, there's the most common version, a "95/98/NT/2000/Me
Workstation-only" version. Finally, there is the "MultiPlatform" version that runs on
NT/2000 Server. Unfortunately, in many places neither McAfee nor their resellers
mention the workstation-only limitation.

Compounding the problem is that McAfee doesn't seem to want to sell the MultiPlatform
version. The easiest way we have found to order it is to: Go to
http://www.mcafeeb2b.com , move the mouse over the word "Products" and select "File
Server Protection". Then, go down and click on "NetShield for NT" (not the product
you are going to buy though!), then on the right-hand side of the screen click "Buy",
then go down to "VirusScan Security Suite". It should be $60-$70, depending on the
support you choose.
