I must be missing something here on the proper setup for an alias to remove unknown user...... I have set up a program alias per the step-by-step instruction in the Manual (also KB). No problem. But when I post a mail to the list, and the list has a bad address in it, I get an email message back to me as [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the well known User Unknown details, including the dead address. So theoretically I can forward this to my new alias and it will remove the dead email address based on the "Reply-To or From" header. But in checking these headers in the message that I've received and can forward, I find that it's from me (admin and owner of the list). I'm missing a big piece of the puzzle here. Am I set up wrong? Why do my bounced messages always come from Postmasters (makes sense to me) but it seems that this "remove" feature expects the bounced messsage to come from the email address that doesn't exist? Perplexed.
