I humbly through myself upon the mercy of the forum. I am fairly new to
Win2K Server, IMail and Networking in general. I recently have been given
the task of keeping our 25,000 square mile/5000 customer network running
while a new network engineer is being trained by me after the termination of
our last network engineer. I am not very familiar with IMail but I do know I
am running IMail 6.5 with all the current patches on a W2K server. Tonight,
for the third time in the last couple of weeks, the IWEBMSG service just
stopped (email.plateautel.net). I have gone through the sys0130.txt log
files and I am not finding anything that looks different from the logged
activity prior to the failure or after the service was restored. I'm not
sure I would recognize a problem if I saw it. Any help to get me going in
the right direction would be greatly appreciated. I think I'm in over my
head.
