I am not sure but I believe if you leave out flags, the default for
adddomain.exe is of the same type as the primary domain.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Automate creation of Domains to external Sql
database
We currently are running Imail 6.05a on W2K server that uses a SQL
(external) user account database.
We would like to automate the process of creating new Domains and new users
by using the provided ipswitch command utilites: "adddomain.exe" &
"adduser.exe". However, within the syntax of the "adddomain.exe" utility it
specifies how
to create the assigned user database for Imail and NT database only (switch
= "-u IM|NT").
Does anyone know if this command supports external databases? If not, what
are alternative solutions? There must be a way to automate the creation of
new Domains using external databases. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.
Thank you!
