Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about this. The problem is that IMail will
only go to the other MX records if it can't reach one of the mail servers. In this
case, it is reaching the mail server, and the mail server is telling it that it *is* a
valid SMTP server, but it is in the process of shutting down, and that IMail should
try again. So, IMail is doing what it should.
RFC821 specifically state the the 421 error is a transient error, and that the server
will be ready to accept SMTP connections again.
