FYI, this isn't going to speed things up.  The problem when making a change to DNS is 
that other DNS servers have cached entries.  If you had a TTL of 24 hours, then every 
DNS server out there that has used your domain in the past 24 hours will have a cached 
entry; changing the TTL to 1 hour isn't going to help.  They aren't going to contact 
you until the TTL has expired.

What works well (for future reference) when making a DNS change is to moving the TTL 
down (say from 1 day to 1 hour) 1 day in advance of making the change, then make the 
change, and move the TTL back up.  That way, the DNS servers with cached entries will 
get the 1 hour TTL and keep checking back every hour for changes.  When you make the 
change, it will propagate within an hour.
