Desktop version of McAfee wasn't designed to catch viruses in SMTP
correspondence, even if you tied it up to your Imail server per Ipswitch
techsupport recommendations.
In order to have your SMTP stuff reliably scanned you can do one of the
following:
1. Purchase Declude antivirus that bridges McAfee desktop version with Imail
2. Purchase SMTP Webshield from McAfee that does SMTP scanning.
First option is much cheaper and seems to be more reliable than Webshield.
