a) Is anyone else having problems with Netscape 4.7 checking
messages? Messenger starts to check messages and displays:
getting message 1 of xxx and hangs.
Other versions do not have this problem. Could this be the result of a bad
message? If so, I wouldn't think that I can view the mailbox via webmsg
but I can read the messages... I am at a lost?
b) I am also seeing pop3 not responding and my number concurrent connection
is 100+; I have to stop/start the service and all is well again. It is
annoying to have to baby the service. We are using SQL2K - I don't think
it is the sql because when I telnet:
telnet pop3 110
+OK X1 NT-POP3 Server (IMail 6.06 22138-4)
user hawk
------ no response ------
c) webmesg is crashing almost everything we start to manage accounts. If
we use it for reading messages - it is less likely to crash, but it does crash.
We running 6.06. Fresh install not.
Hardware: compaq 7000-R, 512MB RAM, Quad-450Xeon, RAID5 (30MB OS, 51MB
Imail directory). SQL is running on a separate Compaq Server.
