IMail "locks" the mailing list while you are modifying it. If it gets locked, but not
unlocked, that will happen (perhaps if you hit escape while making a change).
If you want to unlock it sooner, and have access to the server, there is a file in the
directory of the mailing list that you can delete that will give you access back. You
should be able to tell which it is, I think it is a 0-byte file.
