That's about what I did when I did it. I did a fresh install on the new
machine, copied files and directory structure to the new machine, did an
Imail backup on the old machine and a restore on the new machine. It took me
about 20 minutes start to finish. That was a while back though. It would
take longer than that to copy the files these days.
