Beginning with installation of IMail 6.04, the WhoIS Service has NOT
worked - IMonitor provides a DOWN, TCP 14 error.
Having discussed this with Ipswitch Technical Support on two occasions,
having emailed Ipswitch Techsupport a couple of times, and having received
NO solution, despite having followed the directions, which essentially was a
verbal repeat of the Knowledge Base article relating to this issue, the
error continues.

Interestingly, I find that the configuration for WhoIS asks for the pathname
to the database file...d:\IMail\cfg\whois.db
BUT, when I look at the d:\IMail\cfg directory, there is nothing in
there...no db file...nothing.

Can anyone shed some light on the absence of this db file? We use a SQL
database and RADIUS for authentication to our network, and the users are in
IMail.

Any thoughts, advice, whatever would be appreciated!
