You need to make sure that you are using users.lst and not users.txt. When you create your list not through the browser it has to have the <text> around the text. In the browser you then just would select and delete. my 2 cents. Odd. I can even create a brand new list, add someone via the web interface, and then can't delete them unless I click on them and click delete. I tried entering the email address in the box, and it give the failed message, tried it email with <> around it too. The list server really needs a lot of work, and self error checking.
