That depends on how bad your mail abuse problems and mail virus problems are.

Both is a pretty good combination, since IMGate could block spam, do
anti-relay, block attacks, offload sending to Interenet, and do
global filtering of msg headers and msg body without without
involving Imail and then Declude could do the AV scanning on the IMail machine.
