This makes no sense. {Services -> Stop} web messaging takes a while, but
nothing like the 7 hours reported. It may have been a different problem,
but when it happened to me on 6.04, I set all IMail services to manual,
rebooted, and the install still dragged on. The full install worked
flawlessly.
