And you installed SP1? And re-installed IMail?
What do you mean by 'hanging'? If the service is still running (IMail and NT
report this), can you connect to it (use telnet, not an email client!)? What
error is reported? If you do connect, what is the first line from IMail and
how long did it take to get that response?
Have you looked into the Event log? Any errors or warnings there need to be
resolved, before you can have any chance of anything else working.
