I haven't done this in a while, but...

Assuming you're not running NT Server on your laptop, just run the SQL 7
installation.  It will just load Enterprise Manager and the associated SQL
utilities.

If you're running NT server on your laptop, do the same as above, but when
the setup wizard asks, choose the option to only install the utilities.
