Kevin,
SQL7 doesn't play nice with friends like IMail, and will try to take all the
RAM its given. So, it really should be run on its own box, with at least
512MB of memory (1GB is better).
RAID5 will also slow down a mailserver, due to heavy and small disk access
jobs. Better to do RAID 0/1.
With Win2K, make sure you set the services to restart after 1 failed
attempt... sometimes that works.
