Perhaps a corrupt DB? Try to fix and repack it.
Can you switch to SQL?

I'm running Imail 6.06 with an Access DB back-end.
My boss has about 10 accounts he checks at the same time on the server.
This admin account on the main domain he says this:

My account still seems to be having problems. It is the only one of my
accounts that is having problems. When I check mail, it often hangs while
the other accounts speed through. It cuts off in the middle of downloads...

I don't know what to tell him, he's the only one on all the domains with
this problem. He's on a DSL connection so it's not the speed. I don't know.
