Title: RE: [IMail Forum] Upgrading from 6.0 to 6.06
Web messaging has been pegging my processors.  I'm trying to apply the patch to go from 6.05 to 6.06, and my system hangs on IAdmin as well.   YES... I stop all the services first... do you think I'd be in this forum if I didn't know what I was doing :-) ?  Anyone got any bright ideas?

I have been running 6.05 for months now. The past two days I'm getting Dr. Watson message about infoctrs.dll and the webmesenger service stops. I moved all the spools files to a new directory rebooted and about 30 minutes later I got the same message. I tried to upgrade to 6.06patch but it just hangs on updating Iadmin.exe and only shows 0%.

I've never gone from 6.0 up to 6.5/6, but any of my upgrades to the latest version (usually 6.02/3 to 6.06) have been flawless.  My process was this.  In Imail, stop all services.  Apply patch.  Reboot server.  No problems as of yet.  By the way, these were all done on Win2k servers with or without SP1.

Good luck.
