Same for me too (webmail prob). This issue was reported to me this
afternoon, I tested this out for myself, i sent this message:
1234567890 £

--
But it came out the other end looking like this:
17890 ÿFFFFA3
aBunoomally
Nk Manager
Hy Davy School
Pce, CORNWALL
-
As you can see, for some reason, it's displaying a code for shift+3 and also
removing some of the characters on the left of the emails. Any ideas
anyone?

Subject: [IMail Forum] Pound sign Error when messages sent from Webmail
Afternoon all.
running IMAIL 5.08, NT4, sp6a
When users send an email from the standard IMail webmail interface that
includes a £ (pound sign) in the content, upon receipt of the email at the
other end the pound sign comes out as garble text, something along the lines
of:ÿFFFFA3 or text that is equally bizzare.
Sending from a mail client (Outlook, Eudora) doesn't produce the same
problem (hence why I can include £ signs in this message). Has anyone come
across this before, and if so is there a fix/patch??
TIA
Richard
