I've seen what I think is the same thing. I send a patch from outlook 2000
(with the security patch installed), OL wans me that this is a no-no, I
override and send it anyway. The recipient sees the paperclip marking an
attachment but no link to it. I think the problem lies with the sender's
outlook.
Just a guess and my 2c.

I have one user who has tried to use the Web interface to IMail (6.06) while
working at home. If someone using plain-text format email sends him an
attachment, no problem. But if they are using HTML format mail, whatever
attachment they send is not visible. He is using IE 5.5 on Windows. I
couldn't find this in the knowledgebase or documentation. I am not able to
reproduce the problem here. Does anyone have a diagnosis?
